Professor Charles Thomas was honored with the Chuck Davis Dancers as one of the members of the company that launched Dance Africa 35 years ago at the renowned Brookly Academy of Music, (BAM) by DANCE AFRICA, during an annual fesitval held there and around the world supported by: Time Warner, Con Edison, Target, The Harkness Foundation for Dance and The SHS Foundation. Prof. Thomas is Director of the Dance Program at CSI.
