The CSI community has responded with incredible concern and support for our students, faculty, and staff who have been victimized by the super storm. In addition to the CSI Foundation Hurricane Sandy Emergency Relief Fund, numerous additional efforts, such as campus drop-off bins, ride-shares, and countless volunteer hours, have been committed to help those of our campus community in need.
To view an example of the extraordinary volunteer work of one such member of our CSI family, please see the link below of a three minute recent interview by CNN’s Anderson Cooper of CSI graduate student Marybeth Melendez-Perez.

There have already been many submissions for relief received. For those who have already contributed to the CSI Foundation Hurricane Sandy Emergency Relief Fund, we thank you.
If you are in need of such assistance as a College faculty or staff member, or student, please contact the CSI Foundation in confidence at foundation@csi.cuny.edu or (718) 982-2365.
The storm-related emergency needs of our campus family are growing with each passing day. We hope that all of us who are able to make a contribution of any size will submit a gift online at www.csi.cuny.edu/foundation or send a check made out to the CSI Foundation at 2800 Victory Boulevard, 1A-401, Staten Island, NY 10314.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
