The Academy of Retired Professors (the ARP) will meet on Friday, 16 Nov. in the Campus Center (Building 1C) Park Café at noon. Join us for lunch and to hear Richard Schwartz (Mathematics) talk about his new book, Who Stole My Religion? Revitalizing Judaism and Applying Jewish Values to Help Heal Our Imperiled Planet.

Professor Schwartz characterizes his book as a wake-up call to Jews and others–although written from a Jewish perspective, it has a universal message. He discusses our endangered world as well as other issues: peace in the Middle East, economic systems, Islamophobia and antisemitism, and vegetarianism and animal rights. The book can be downloaded free online .

Please reserve by Wednesday, Nov. 14 with Deborah Meise, 718.982.2365 or
