The Music Program of the Department of Performing and Creative Arts presents a Music Hour with The OMNI Ensemble on Thursday, Mar. 14 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) Recital Hall at 2:30pm.
The OMNI Ensemble continues its 30th season. CSI Adjunct Professor/Flutist David Wechsler and Pianist Jim Johnston will be joined by guest artists Nancy Ranger, Oboe; Jeff Adler, Clarinet; Sara Schoenbeck, Bassoon, and Janet Lantz, Horn for performances of woodwind quintet and piano music. The program will include György Ligeti – Six Bagatelles, Paul Fried – Quintet, Klezmer Style, and Richard Strauss – Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks.
