In celebration of Women’s History Month, join us for Harriet Tubman Herself, starring Christine Dixon, on Tuesday, Apr. 9 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) Recital Hall from 2:45pm to 4:25pm.
Ms. Dixon tells the story of Tubman’s life and how she brought hundreds of slaves to freedom in this dramatic one-woman performance about the heroic “Moses” of her people. This performance is originally adapted and directed by Morna Murphy Martell from the 1868 book by Sarah Bradford, Scenes in the Life of Harriet Tubman.
