The Staten Island Chapter of the NY State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA) will be sponsoring its Annual Accounting Education Night for College Students on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at The Staaten, 697 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
Students will have the opportunity to meet CPA members of the Staten Island Chapter for open discussions about career options, while enjoying dinner. Representatives from the FBI and the IRS will make presentations about career options in both agencies. Becker CPA Review will provide a presentation to the students, in addition to raffling off tuition vouchers to their review course.
The cost to the students is only $10 for this event. Students must register for the event with Prof. Cynthia Scarinci, beginning the week of Monday, Oct. 28.
