The list of World on Wednesday (WOW) events for the Fall 2013 semester is now available online

The World on Wednesday Lecture Series  is especially intended to inspire students to want to learn more about the world during their time at CSI. Discussions in the series serve to introduce and encourage students to participate in the wide range of study abroad programs available to them through the Center for International Service.

Speakers talk about their own personal experiences and present their topics in an informal style, including audio-visual tools. Past presenters have represented the disciplines of history, economics, geography, political science, health sciences, cinema studies, environmental science, business, and literature. Discussions have focused on topics related to China, France, Italy, Japan, Korea, South Africa, and other countries.

All WOW events take place on Wednesdays in the Campus Center (Building 1C) from 12:20pm to 1:10pm.

If you wish to participate or to suggest another speaker, please contact Winnie Brophy at the Center for International Service at 718.982.2100 or
