The Office of Student Life’s weekly entertainment series, the GDL Café, has a very special event planned this week–a performance by Sami Jo Frank, the winner of 2013’s “CSI’s Got Talent.” Sami Jo will performon Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 5:30pm in the Campus Center (Building 1C) Green Dolphin Lounge. The event is free and CLUE certified.
Next week, in the Café, we have our Open Mic night for students, faculty, and staff. Performers of all types–musicians, poets, comedians, and more–are encouraged to sign up beginning at 5:30pm on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
The series continues on Wednesday, Oct. 30 with SLAM, presented by Serpentine magazine. Students will perform original works to compete for prizes, as well as publication in Serpentine.
