On this, the one-year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy, I ask everyone to take a moment to remember those whose lives were lost during this devastating tragedy, their families, and others who continue to struggle in the aftermath of the storm.
In honor of those lost, by order of the Mayor of the City of New York, Michael R. Bloomberg, all flags shall be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset.
