The Second Dean’s Symposium of the semester will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14 in the Center for the Arts Recital Hall from 2:30pm to 4:20pm. Entitled “Infancy in Action,” the symposium will feature a panel discussion with:

-Sarah Berger, Associate Professor, Department of Psychology

-Lana Karasik, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology

-Jennifer Wagner, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology
 

They will talk about their work on infant and early childhood development. All three professors use movements–ranging from eye movements to locomotion–to study perception, cognition, and communication, and consider effects of social interaction and cultural context on development.
