The College of Staten Island men’s baseball team is back on the diamond today, hosting the College of Mount Saint Vincent for a non-conference doubleheader today beginning at 1pm. Admission to the games are FREE of charge and CLUE Certified (PG) for all students. CSI is coming off of a doubleheader split against Stevens Institute of Technology yesterday afternoon. The Dolphins of Mount Saint Vincent have been idle since winning a single game over John Jay College on Wednesday.
CSI is currently 4-5 this season and have not been able to put together two straight wins yet this season. MSV, on the other hand, is 5-6 overall but are streaking, having won five straight coming into today’s contests after a tough 0-6 start. CSI has had the better of the series of late, having won the last five over MSV, including a pair of games last season. CSI is 7-4 all-time against MSV, including a 6-2 mark on their home field.
