The Department of World Language and Literatures is pleased to announce the creation of the Kathryn Talarico French Studies Award. The goal of the award is to provide financial assistance to CSI students who study abroad in France. The award has been established in the name of Kathryn Talarico, who retired from the College in 2013.  Kathy was a Professor of French for 21 years at the College of Staten Island, Chair of the Department of Modern Languages for 15 years, Secretary to the Faculty Senate, and a member of the University Faculty Senate.

To pledge your support, please visit the CSI Foundation homepage and select the Kathryn Talarico French Studies Award from the dropdown box. Your gift will support scholarships that provide funding to students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to study abroad.

We will be informing Kathy of the award in mid-May, so we do ask that donations be made soon.

Thank you for your support.
