I am writing to inform the campus of changes of that are taking place in Academic Affairs.
Effective immediately, Professor Alfred Levine will assume the position of acting Dean of the Division of
Science and Technology. At this time, Dean Alex Chigogidze will be taking an FMLA leave. Professor
Levine has been a member of the faculty for more than 40 years and has served our community in
numerous capacities. I am very confident in his ability to lead the Division in Dean Chigogidze’s absence.
