The College of Staten Island men’s soccer team will take to the pitch today at the CSI Soccer Complex in Staten Island, NY, to take on the Kangaroos of SUNY Canton in the last non-conference match of the season.  The Dolphins come into today’s match 6-7 overall and 3-0 in the CUNYAC while the Kangaroos are 6-3 overall.

Today will be the first ever meeting between these two teams and should be a very good game as the Kangaroos are 2-2 on the road while the Dolphins are 4-3 at home.  Nicholas Bacarella has been a scoring machine as of late, scoring five goals in a six game span putting him at seven on the year.  CSI will hope to bounce back from a tough loss against TCNJ and put together a winning streak heading into the CUNYAC Postseason Tournament.

The Kangaroos are 3-3 over their last six games and have been outscored 13-12, however they have not let up a goal in their past three games.  Canton is coming off of a huge 5-0 win over Berkeley College (NY) yesterday where their team’s leading scorer Nick Escalante scored all five of the goals.
