The College of Staten Island men and women’s swimming & diving team are back in action tonight as they will travel to Garden City, NY to take on Adelphi University in their last meet of the regular season. The Women go into tonight’s meet with a 5-6 overall record and 4-2 in the CUNYAC while the men are 6-3 overall and 3-1 in the CUNYAC and both will look to swim well before the CUNYAC Postseason Tournament. Both teams from Adelphi University are 2-0 and will also use this game as a warm-up for the Northeast-10 Championships.
The men sit in second place within the CUNYAC with Tim Sweeney leading the way as he has broken records this season as he continues to improve his career. John Pignatelli will use his talent on the diving board to take first place and help the Dolphins get their seventh win of the season. The women are being led by Ewa Wojciechowska in the lanes while April Bartlett gives the Dolphins an edge on the planks.
