Public Advocate Letitia James will host a Mayoral Control Forum titled “Our Schools, Our Voices” on Tuesday, Mar. 3 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) from 6:00pm to 8:00pm that will give parents, elected officials, and education advocates a much-needed platform to discuss the future of mayoral control in New York City.
All New Yorkers are encouraged to come and share their thoughts about mayoral control and how modifications to the law can help improve the City’s education system. This is an opportunity to discuss what real community and parent engagement should look like in the future.
