The winner of the CSI-New Rochelle matchup will face No. 2 seeded Rutgers-Newark in the semifinal round of competition on Saturday afternoon at Brooklyn College.  BC earned the field’s No. 1 seed and will await the winner of No. 4. The Sage Colleges vs. No. 5 Lehman College.

For the 16-11 Dolphins, this is their third-straight ECAC Postseason appearance and their 11th overall.  The team has won one ECAC Championship in that time, taking the 2008-09 installment of the tournament, which at the time featured sight teams.  CSI fell to Brooklyn College in last year’s semifinal round.

The Blue Angels of New Rochelle finished 12-10 this past season, falling in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Women’s Athletic Conference semifinals.  CSI sports a 3-1 all-time record against New Rochelle, having won the last meeting in 2012 by a heavy 67-36 count.
