On behalf of the College of Staten Island community, we cordially invite you to the memorial event honoring the memory and academic accomplishments of our late colleague, Professor and Dean Alex Chigogidze.
A long time close collaborator of Dean Chigogidze, Professor Vesko Valov of Nipissing University has kindly agreed to give a lecture titled “Alex Chigogidze and His Mathematical Legacy” on his academic accomplishments and contributions to the field of mathematics.
There has been a change of venue and time for the event. The lecture will now be held on Wednesday, May 13 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) Recital Hall from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
A reception will be held in the Center for the Arts Atrium from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
