This year’s Relay For Life at the College of Staten Island has been rescheduled to next Friday, May 8, 2015 at the CSI Track and Field due to unexpected inclement weather and cold temperatures. The community event next Friday will begin at 3:00pm and end at 11:00pm.
The Relay For Life is a celebration that brings together our CSI Community, friends, and families to celebrate the lives of those who have had cancer, remember those we have lost, and fight back against a disease that takes too much. Many of us here at CSI know someone whose life has been touched by cancer. CSI has a timely opportunity to make an important contribution and I appeal to you to join us to be a part of this fight. There will be food, games (Rock Climbing Wall, Obstacle Course, etc), fitness classes (Zumba & Tai Chi), and live entertainment. We will also have the CSI Astrophysical Observatory available for our viewing pleasure. We tell you to reach for the stars, now you can view them, too.
Please accept this invitation to join us on Friday, May 8 from 3:00 to 11:00pm. If you would like to make a donation, join or create a team, or just want additional information, please go online or contact Robert King Kee in the Office of Student Life at 718.982.3119. This event and the day’s activities are open to the entire community.
Come and join in the fun for a great cause.
