I am pleased to advise you that the CUNY Board of Trustees Committee on Faculty, Staff, and Administration officially recommended the appointment of Ms. Khatmeh Osseiran-Hanna to serve as the College’s new Vice President for Institutional Advancement and External Affairs, effective Monday, Aug. 17, 2015.

Ms. Osseiran-Hanna has served as the Director of Advancement, North America for the University of Queensland, Australia since 2012. Prior to her role at the University of Queensland, she served in various leadership positions including Vice President for University Advancement at New Jersey City University, and Assistant Vice President of Planned Giving and Senior Major Gift Officer at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Ms. Osseiran-Hanna has more than 25 years of experience in higher education, non-profit management, fundraising, marketing and communications, advocacy, and alumni and community relations.

Ms. Osseiran-Hanna holds a BA in International Affairs from George Washington University, credits in Graduate Studies in Islamic Studies and Economics from McGill University, and a Certificate in Planned Giving from the College of William and Mary.
