The College of Staten Island women’s tennis team is back on the courts today, and will be hosting Ramapo College at 4:00pm at the CSI Tennis Center. The Dolphins are 6-2 overall this season and looking to get back in the win column following a loss last week and two consecutive cancellations due to rain this weekend.

Matchup: CSI (6-2 overall, 2-1 CUNYAC) vs. Ramapo College (6-1 Overall, 3-1 NJAC)
Where: CSI Tennis Center, 2800 Victory Blvd. Staten Island, NY
First Serve: 4:00 pm
Last Year’s Result: Ramapo won, 7-2
Players To Watch (CSI): Michelle Kushnir was the only Dolphins player to score wins at both singles and doubles this week in CSI’s tough loss against Baruch and is officially on a season-best win streak. Nozima Toshpulatova, her normal doubles partner, played in the No. 1 position against Baruch and is hoping for a bounce-back day today as well.
Players To Watch (RAM): Ramapo is getting very strong play from Sabrina Krorpchak, who will put her 6-0 singles mark on the line today, usually playing at either No. 5 or 6 in the lineup.
News and Notes: After starting out 5-0, CSI has dropped two out of their last three matches and fell hard to Baruch Tuesday, 7-2, despite several heavily-competitive flights. Ramapo has won its last two matches. These teams share one common opponent thus far, both having beaten Hunter College, 7-2.
