The College of Staten Island men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams are in action again tonight, when they travel to Pleasantville, NY, for a showdown with Pace University, at 6pm.  The Dolphins are coming off of a loss to William Paterson earlier this week, and will look to turn the tide tonight and get back in the win column.  Both CSI teams are 1-2 to start the season.

Players To Watch (CSI): CSI’s Tim Sweeney is coming off of a CUNYAC Player of the Week honor and has collected a first place finish in every event he has competed in.  Nick Defonte was named the Rookie of the Week.  He finished in first, second, or third in every individual race he has participated in.  On the women’s side, Ewa Wojciechowska was CollegeSwimming.com’s CUNYAC Player of the Week and she too will look to keep the positive flow going.  Naomi Gaggi enjoyed a fine run against William Paterson and will look to stay the course as well,
Players To Watch (PU): Nianzhong Liu is enjoying a sensational start to the 2015-16 campaign and will look for even more top times against Staten Island today.  Alexander Dimcevski will also look to power the Setters.  On the women’s side, look for  Cassandra Muldoon and Madison Kiefer to help lead the way.
News and Notes: These two teams met to introduce the season last year, with the CSi men claiming victory and the Pace women doing the same.  The women went on to finish 5-5 overall but are off to an impressive 3-1 start.  The Pace men are also off to a great start after a 1-10 campaign a year ago.  CSi is looking for their first out-of-conference wins of the season.
