Patricia Smith Participating in Governor’s Island Writing Workshops

On September 10, The Worker Writers School, in collaboration with PEN America, will host a “Fall Open House” on Governor’s Island.

College of Staten Island (CSI) Professor and National Book Award Finalist Patricia Smith will be among the participants offering a series of creative writing mini-workshops.

Professor Smith is a Cave Canem faculty member, a professor of English at CSI, and a faculty member of the Sierra Nevada MFA program.
