The College of Staten Island men’s soccer team is tying up their laces for their final regular season contest of the year today, as they will travel to face Arcadia University.  The Dolphins are coming off a big win over John Jay College in their regular season conference finale and will look to exit the regular season in quality fashion before CUNYAC Tournament time.

Players to Watch (CSI): Dardan Nika tallied his third goal of the season on a season-high 9 shots, in CSI’s last game against JJC.  Look for him to lend himself to the attack along with leading goal scorers Marcin Klim and Adrian Cosovic, who have 16 goals between them.  Ali Fares is a playmaker in the middle with six assists.  The Dolphins back line will be leaned on today, and freshman keeper Jake Foeldes brings in a 0.62 goals against average and .852 save percentage.
Players to Watch (AU): Bradley McKim is the man to watch up front.  He leads the Knights with 9 goals this season, six more than any other AU striker.  He also paces AU in assists with four.  Look for Ryan Keeter in the mix as well, as he boasts a pair of goals and assists this season.  Chris Watson sees most of the minutes in goal.  He is sporting a 0.93 goals against with a .780 save percentage.
News and Notes:  The Dolphins and Knights are renewing a rivalry that has been dormant for seven years.  These two teams played way back in 2009, a 2-0 Arcadia win.  That was also the last time that Arcadia played a CUNYAC school.  The two teams do not share any common opponents this season.  After today the Dolphins will prepare for the CUNYAC Tournament.  As the No. 4 seed, they will play No. 5 seeded Brooklyn College, who they beat earlier this season 2-1.  The game will be played at the CSI Soccer Complex on Wednesday, October 26, at a time yet to be determined.  The other CUNYAC Quarterfinal will be No, 3 CCNY taking on No. 6 Baruch.  The top two seeds (Lehman and Hunter) have earned byes and will advance directly into Semifinal play next weekend.
