The Campus Study Working Group committee members met on Wednesday, Feb. 1 to review, analyze, and synthesize the feedback comments of solutions presented at the three forums (held on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016; Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016; and Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017) and submitted online.
Approximately 44 members of the community participated in the three days of in-person forums, excluding nine committee members of the Climate Study Group. Facilitators of the forums were Frances Meléndez, Christine Flynn Saulnier, and Alana Gaymon. Co-facilitators were Lorianne Delahunt, Orit Gruber, Sherry Heller, Robert King Kee, and Gary Pizzolo. Co-Chairs Danielle Dimitrov and Wilma Jones were present at all forums.
More than 90 feedback comments were submitted online between Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 and Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017.
During the meeting, feedback comments were placed into categories that emerged organically. Issues from these categories were placed into short-term (12 months), mid-term (12 to 24 months), and long-term (ongoing, two to five years) actions.
Two additional meetings are scheduled for March and April, respectively, to work on converting these categories into recommendations for the President and Administration.
