Join us for the School of Education Mini-Conference, Educating the Whole World in an Era of Human Capital, featuring Jamaal Bowman, Keynote Speaker on Wednesday, Mar. 8 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) Williamson Theatre from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.

The event will also feature a panel discussion, breakout sessions, and a reception.

Jamaal Bowman is the founding principal of Cornerstone Academy for Social Action Middle School (CASA), located in the northeast Bronx, and a passionate advocate for public education. Born in NYC and raised by a single mom, Jamaal is most passionate about working with historically disenfranchised communities and children who’ve experienced trauma. Jamaal has worked in Title 1 public schools for more than 17 years and is currently working toward his Doctorate in Education Leadership at Manhattanville College. Jamaal is also a proud husband and father of three.
