The College of Staten Island baseball team will play at the CSI Baseball Complex this afternoon against New Jersey City University at 4:00 pm.  The Dolphins will take on the Gothic Knights in the 40th and 41st meeting between these Bayonne Bridge rivals.

Players To Watch (CSI): Glenn Glennerster had an outstanding doubleheader against Maine Presque-Isle.  Glennerster finished 4-for-7 with two RBIs and four runs.  Glennerster has improved as the season has progressed, upping his batting average from .200 to start the year to .339 which currently sits as third best on his team. Jett Nouvertne currently leads the team with a .367 batting average with a pair of doubles. Bobby Drake makes sure that when he comes to the plate he does his best to not leave anyone on the bases and he has done a solid job of that this season. Drake leads the team with 11 RBIs which is one more than the next closest player. Nick Meola has played well in right field for the Dolphins and has yet to make an error this season while tallying 17 putouts.
Players To Watch (NJCU): Joe Coutinho leads the Gothic Knights with a .444 batting average through 15 games this season.  Coutinho is also atop the table with 17 RBIs while also sitting in second with a single home run. Mike Ramirez has pitched 27 innings this season, most on the team, and also has the lowest ERA with a 3.33.  Ramirez has appeared in six games and boasts a 1-2 record.
News & Notes: The Dolphins last took on the Gothic Knights on April 27, 2016 where they came away victorious by a score of 13-7. Since 2008 Staten Island is just 3-7 against New Jersey City University but in the last three meetings CSI has come out on top with a 2-1 record. The Dolphins will play on their home field for the fourth and fifth consecutive time.
