The Dolphins are on the road for the last time in the regular season, where they will travel to Jamaica, NY to play against conference opponents York College starting at 7pm. The Dolphins will look to overcome the Cardinals to make up their 0-3 loss to Baruch, to bounce back into the winner’s bracket.

Players To Watch (CSI): Mark Palencia sits 29th in the nation in attacks averaging 8.02 attacks per set. Palencia continues to lead the Dolphins with 154 kills and is tied for first, with teammate Ronald Tisbe, with 101 digs. Danil Kukovitiskiy has been a dominant threat on both sides of the net as he is second with 80 kills and first with 33 blocks. Setter Brandon Lei (75 assists) will be key for the Dolphins scoring as they look to overcome the Cardinals.
Players To Watch (YC): Akeem George and Burrel Kirk Murray combine for 247 kills, with Kirk Murray has 124 of them. Kit Keeratikanchanavog (175 assists) and Adil Manji (205 assists) pace the way for the Cardinals assists. York’s defense will be a struggle for the Dolphins with Paramvir Singh leading the team with 157 digs and three York players in double digit blocks. Neko Lyttle leads in blocks with 48, George is right behind Lyttle with 39, and Frederis Tapia has 28 blocks.
News & Notes: This is first meeting for the Dolphins and the Cardinals this season. Last year’s meeting York topped Staten Island 3-1. Despite the loss, Kukovitiskiy led the team with five blocks and Ronald Tisbe had eight digs. The Dolphins are on a two-game losing streak to the Cardinals nine. If the Dolphins fall to the Cardinals tonight and CCNY beats John Jay then CSI is eliminated from CUNYAC Playoff contention. All the Dolphins have to tonight is win and they’re in.
