We are happy to report that the loop road project is moving along as scheduled.

Please be advised that part 3 of phase 1 will begin on Monday, Aug. 21. This will include the closure of South Road, which is the large section of loop road running from the Forest Hill Road back gate to the southern-most entrance to parking lot #2.

In order to allow for continued access to the lot,  the current exit to parking lot #2 on the west side of campus will be opened up to allow for two-way traffic in and out of the public lot. Access to the faculty/staff lot will remain open through the gate closest to Building 1A. While we work on this phase, you will not be able to circle the campus. Additionally, for safety reasons, the Loop Bus will only run between the stops at buildings 1A/2A and Victory Blvd.

In addition, work continues on hook road. The detour, which is in place for access to parking lot #1 through the administrative loop for both the faculty/staff access lot and the student lot remains the same at this time.

There will be signage posted, as well as construction workers and Public Safety Officers directing traffic, as needed. Please be cognizant of this change and be sure to allow for extra travel time to get where you need to go.

Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.  If you have any questions about this work, please call the Office of Campus Planning at 718.982.3214.  Thank you.
