Players to Watch (CSI): Omer Abdella has caught fire over the last three games, scoring three goals, two of which were against Medgar Evers in a 2-0 win. Most recently, Abdella scored against Baruch to bring the Dolphins within one from their rivals.  Abdella will look to keep himself on the scoresheet while also helping lift his team to a win. Freshman, Bryant Navarro has been on a scoring drought after scoring in four straight games he’s now gone without a goal in four consecutive games.  He will use today’s game to return to form and help the Dolphins start a new win streak.
Players to Watch (BC): Ahmad Aly has put the ball in the back of the net twice this season which places him atop the Bulldogs.  Sertac Altun has started all 10 games for Brooklyn this season and leads the team with one assist.  Altun, the field general, will look to secure his second assist of the season.
News and Notes: Over the last five meetings the Dolphins are 4-0-1 and have edged out the Bulldogs 13-6 in scoring during that stretch. The last time these two teams met on Brooklyn’s home turf they played to a 2-2 draw.  Staten Island has the most potent scoring offense in the CUNYAC with 32 goals on the year, while the Bulldogs struggle to finish and have only tallied eight goals on the year. Brooklyn’s woes are not just on the offensive end as they have trouble stopping opposing teams and have allowed 32 goals against this season.
