Players to Watch (CSI): Leading the way for the Dolphins is Caitlin Esposito with 42 kills on the year, good for 4.2 kills per match. Esposito, in her most recent match against the Pioneers, collected four kills on 25 total attacks which led her team.  On the year, Jessica Cafiero has been efficient moving the ball to her teammates, placing the ball near the net, allowing her outside hitter’s opportunities to have a quality strike. Margaret O’Malley-Rebovich has been a nuisance for opponents at the net this season as she has tallied 18 blocks, 9 solo, this season. Look for O’Malley-Rebovich to be active at the net tonight to stifle York’s attacking players.
Players to Watch (YC):  Argenis Morales paces the Cardinals with 21 kills on the year through 10 matches this season. Morales is not only the best attacking player the Cardinals have, she’s also the best defending player with three blocks on the year.  Kassandra Diaz is one of three Cardinals that has 17 assists on the year, however, Diaz has played in all 10 matches.
News and Notes: The Dolphins are currently on a 13-match win streak against the Cardinals dating back to the 2003 season.  Over that span, the Dolphins have dropped just 11 sets while winning 39 of them.  The Cardinals have been swept in all 10 of their matches this season and will look to pick up their first win here tonight. The Dolphins, are currently on a three-match losing skid and will look to snap that tonight at the CSI Sports & Recreation Center.
