The College of Staten Island men’s basketball team will host York College today for another CUNYAC matchup at The Tank in Staten Island, NY at 1:00 pm. The Dolphins will hope to overcome the Cardinals once again this season as they needed overtime to pick up the win in the meeting earlier this season.

Players to Watch (CSI): Adeola Latunji has taken the top spot as the go-to scorer for the Dolphins as he now leads the team with 16.4 points per game while also grabbing 5.3 rebounds per game, good for second on the team. Christian Taylor is second on the squad in scoring, adding 15.8 points per game while grabbing a team-high 6.1 rebounds per game. Robert Rossiter and Taylor combined for 29 points for the Dolphins the last time they took on the Cardinals.
Players to Watch (YC): Edwin Sainvil and Jean Joseph each poured in 22 points on December 5 in the overtime loss to the Dolphins. On the year, Sainvil is averaging 14.6 points per game while Joseph adds 11.5 per game. Ryan Smart is effective at both ends of the floor as he is averaging a double-double this season with 13.8 points per game and 10.8 rebounds per game. 
News & Notes: The Dolphins have won the last five meetings against the Cardinals with the last loss coming in 2015 in the CUNYAC Quarterfinals. At The Tank, the Dolphins are 31-12 against the Cardinals. York College has struggled on the road this season, holding a 3-8 road record. At home, the Dolphins are 4-5 and have won three of their last four at home. CSI is averaging 78 points per game while allowing opponents to score 76 per game.
