The College of Staten Island men’s basketball squad returns to action today at 2:00 pm when they travel to Radner Field House in Radnor, PA to take on Cabrini University for the CUNYAC/CSAC Challenge. The teams were aligned as they both sat in second place in their respective conferences at the time of matchups.

Players to Watch (CSI): Christian Taylor is coming off of a career game in which he netted 27 points against Medgar Evers. 
In that contest, he shot 67% from the floor while tallying six steals and four rebounds. After scoring 20+ points in seven straight games, Adeola Latunji has been held to just 10 and 11 points in his last two outings. Latunji will look to regain his form this afternoon against Cabrini in the third meeting between the two colleges. Robert Rossiter is third on the team with 9.4 points per game. Rossiter is one of the leaders on the court for the Dolphins and he will hope to use that leadership to guide the Dolphins past the Cavaliers. Raymond Savage is the most efficient 3-point shooter for the Dolphins, shooting 38%. 
Players to Watch (CU): Tyheim Monroe is the only player for the Cavaliers to start every single game, he also averages a double-double with 21.8 points and 15.8 rebounds per game, both of which are team-highs. DJ Smith is the sharpshooter for Cabrini as he is averaging 11 points per game on 42% shooting from 3-point range. Ivan Robinson leads the charge, finding his open teammates for easy buckets as he collects 5.3 assists per game.
News & Notes: This will be the third meeting all-time between the two teams, with Cabrini winning the last meeting 85-80 just last season. Prior to that, the Dolphins last defeated the Cavaliers 60-55 in 1983.  The teams will come into the game trending in different directions as the Dolphins have lost three straight while Cabrini has won three straight. Cabrini is averaging 89 points per game while holding their opponents to 77 per game while the Dolphins are averaging 77 per game and holding opponents to 76.
