CSI Professor of Music Sylvia Kahan’s book, Winnaretta Singer-Polignac: Princesse, mécène et musicienne, which has recently been released by Les presses du réel (Dijon, France), and is a second edition and French-language translation of her 2003 book, Music’s Modern Muse, has been nominated for the Prix France Musique des Muses 2019, France’s highest award for a book on music. The winners will be announced in March 2019.
