The season will start with a trip to Kean University, where the Dolphins will face off with the host Cougars and follow up on Saturday against NJAC’s Stockton University for a neutral site clash. After an idle week, CSI will open the home portion of their season on Saturday, September 8, against Keystone College. After the three-game homestand, CSI will open up conference play against John Jay College on September 19 at a time and place yet to be determined. CSI’s home conference debut will be the following Saturday against Medgar Evers College.
The CSI women’s season will finalize with a pair of home contests, including the CUNYAC finale against Brooklyn College on Saturday, October 20, and Senior Day against Rosemont College on Monday, October 22.
The top four CUNYAC teams will make the conference’s postseason tournament, this year played at Brooklyn College with Semifinals set for October 31 and the Final set for Saturday, November 3. CSI is the three-time defending CUNYAC Champions, winners of nine overall CUNYAC titles since 2004.
On the men’s side, the Dolphins will open on September 1 against St. Joseph’s College of Long Island and will follow two days later on the Labor Day holiday with their home opener at 12 Noon against St. Joseph’s College of Brooklyn. The following weekend, CSI will participate in the Cialella Soccer Classic at Rowan University. CSI will face off against Rutgers-Camden on September 8, followed by a showdown with the host Profs that Sunday in a 2 pm tilt.
Like the women. the CSI men will open up conference play on the road against CCNY on September 19, and three days later return home for their CUNYAC opener against John Jay. After two of three conference dates at home, CSI will finish their season with four of their final matches on the road, including a first-ever showdown with Amherst College on October 14. CSI will celebrate their final home game on Wednesday, October 17, against CUNYAC-rivals Baruch College, whom they have met three-straight year in postseason play.
Six conference teams will make the CUNYAC Postseason Tournament, with Quarterfinals kicking off on October 24. The Semifinal and Final will also be played at Brooklyn College on October 27 and November 3, respectively.
The CSI men are chasing their first CUNYAC Championship since 1998.
