Are you an artist who would love to work behind the scenes at a museum?
Are you into finance but also have an interest in dance?
Are you a Music major but would also like to explore doing research for a non-profit cultural institution?
These are just some of the opportunities available with a Cultural Corps Academic Year Internship for the Academic Year 2018-2019.
To be eligible for the Cultural Corps Academic Year Internship, students must:
-Be working toward a degree at a CUNY college (Community College, Senior College, or Graduate School)
-Be registered for at least six credits each semester in Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 (unless a graduating senior requiring fewer credits for Spring)
-Have a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.5
-Have earned at least 30 college credits by the end of Summer 2018 (24 credits for community college students)
-Have addressed any remedial education needs prior to beginning Fall 2018 classes
-Be available to work part-time (12 hours/week) for a period of 21 weeks during the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters
-Have the proper work authorization required by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
