As we approach the end of the last weekend before the start of classes, I want to remind everyone that the MTA has made a number of changes to Staten Island’s Express Bus schedule. If you use the express bus to commute to campus, I strongly recommend that you check the MTA Website to get up-to-date information on the latest changes to bus routes and scheduled stops prior to coming to campus.
Also, please let us know of any issues presented by the new schedule, as the MTA has advised that they will make adjustments in response to feedback from ridership and we will use the information to continue to advocate for improved service. Additionally, please note that the MTA will have representatives on campus on Monday, Aug. 27 and Wednesday, Aug. 29. They will be located outside of Building 1A, on the Great Lawn side, from 10:00am until 2:00pm. Representatives are prepared to answer questions, and distribute maps and new timetables.
