Media Culture Faculty Exhibition: 2018 features the work of artists and filmmakers who are on the faculty of the Department of Media Culture. Incorporating various media forms–film, video, photography, and performance–the show highlights the diverse modes our adjunct and junior faculty use within their practices.
Artists include: Lily Benson, Cecilia Dougherty, Jessica Green, Bang Geul Han, Emma Hedditch, Hillevi Loven, Tara Mateik, Gigi Polo, Farideh Sakhaeifar, and Buzz Slutzky
-Opening reception: Thursday, Sept. 20, 5:00pm to 7:00pm
-Exhibition Dates: Thursday, Sept. 20 to Saturday, Oct. 20
-Screening: Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2:30pm to 4:30pm. The film and video screening series of the exhibition features the work of artists and filmmakers who are on the faculty of the Department of Media Culture. The screening and the exhibition demonstrate the diverse modes and themes that our adjunct and junior faculty use within their practices. The screening includes works by Hillevi Loven, Gigi Polo, Farideh Sakhaeifar, and Buzz Slutzky.
-Artists Talk: Thursday, Oct. 18, 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Join the Media Culture Faculty artists for a discussion of their works featured in the exhibition.
