Jacquelyn Cali added eight points in that last outing against the Bulldogs and had success from 3-point land, going 2-for-3. Megan McEwan will hope for a better afternoon after going 1-for-11 against Brooklyn in January.
Players to Watch (BC): Alexandra Moogan led the Bulldogs with 13 points against the Dolphins in the last meeting. Moogan lives behind the 3-point line and is shooting 36% from range this season. Moogan is second on the team with 13.7 points per game sitting behind Chanel Jemmott who is averaging 14.9. Jemmott is nearly averaging a double-double with 9.8 rebounds per game. Jemmott was held to just eight points and six rebounds against the Dolphins. Taylor George will prove to be a factor as well, dishing the ball to her teammates as well as hitting her shots behind the arc.
News & Notes: Over the last seven meetings the teams have swapped wins with the Dolphins holding a 4-3 record during that span. The last two seasons, the CUNYAC title has been handed to both the Dolphins and the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs are the reigning CUNYAC Champions after they defeated the Dolphins 59-50 in the title game last season. At The Tank, Staten Island is just 2-3 against the Bulldogs in their last five meetings but are 18-6 all-time.
