Today at 3:00pm in the Campus Center (Building 1C) Room 221, the NYC Commission for Human Rights will be doing a presentation about LGBTQ Workplace Rights.
The NYC Commission on Human Rights enforces the NYC Human Rights Law, one of the strongest human rights laws in the nation. The Law protects New Yorkers against discrimination in housing, employment, public accommodation, bias-based profiling, discriminatory harassment, lending practices, and retaliation.
Also, the second annual LGBTQ Film Festival starts today. The Times of Harvey Milk is being shown in the Library (Building 1L), Room 103 at 2:30pm with a talkback with Prof. Anne Hays.
