Classified Staff-FAQs: Contractual-Increases and Retroactive Pay

This message applies to full-time and part-time Classified employees under the Blue/White Collar Contract:

Full-time and part-time hourly employees (excluding College Assistants),  will receive retroactive payment included in their regular paycheck, which will be issued on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019. College Assistants will receive their retroactive payments included in their regular paycheck which will be issued on Thursday, Sept.26, 2019. If you are currently enrolled in direct deposit, your retroactive pay, along with your regular pay, will be deposited into your bank account on Thursday, Aug. 1. If you normally pick up your paycheck from the Bursar’s Office, you are to follow the usual procedure; checks will be available for pick up at the Bursar today, July 31 after 3:00pm.

We are aware that many current employees are in contact with separated employees and/or their families. Please note that separated employees can pick up their checks in person, with valid ID at the Bursar in Building 2A, Room 105. Under certain circumstances, a separated employee’s check can be mailed; however, they need to contact CSI Human Resources at humanresources@csi.cuny.edu.
