The Publications Board and the Division of Student Affairs are proud to announce that we are hosting a conference for students interested in journalism or media:
“Facts Don’t Matter: Preparing the Next Generation for Fake News, Conspiracy Theories, and Digital Fakes,” on Friday, Mar. 27 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) Williamson Theatre from 10:30am to 5:00pm.
The day will feature some of the most interesting voices in journalism and an opportunity for students to come together to network, learn about new trends in journalism, and attend sessions led by notable journalists, news executives, and academics. We’ll even have a professional photographer available to take head shots for your LinkedIn profile.
For more information about the conference and to register, go online.
