I am writing to let you know that one of our Dolphin Cove residents received a positive COVID-19 test yesterday and is in isolation. Roommates have been notified and are now residing separately and following directives that we received from the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH).
Based on DOHMH guidance, all Dolphin Cove residents were provided a list of COVID-19 symptoms and instructed to self-monitor for those symptoms for the next seven days.
Please be assured that my office is working closely with Dolphin Cove, CSI Health and Wellness Services, and the DOHMH to monitor this situation, ensure that we are taking all appropriate safety measures, and tend to the needs of impacted students.
