Two members of our community, who have been on campus recently, have tested positive for COVID-19. Out of abundance of caution, we reached out to those who were in close contact with these individuals and asked them to quarantine/isolate at home and seek medical guidance The areas where the individuals have visited this past week are being deep cleaned i accordance with our re-entry plan.
Our first priority is keeping everyone safe. Please trust that we are following all protocols and procedures and will contact you individually if we believe there is any risk of possible exposure.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to stay six feet apart, wear masks, and wash/sanitize your hands regularly. As always, any person who develops the following symptoms should stay home and contact their medical care provider:
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Troubled breathing
- Fever
- Chills
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste and/or New loss of smell
Please note that NYC offers free COVID testing. Further information on free testing can be accessed by calling 311 or the NYC health and hospitals Website.
