Ismael García-Colón, Associate Professor of Anthropology at CSI and The Graduate Center, CUNY, has received a Second Place Book Award from the Association of Latina and Latino Anthropologists for his book, Colonial Migrants at the Heart of Empire: Puerto Rican Workers on U.S. Farms (University of California Press, 2020).
