As Inauguration Day is upon us, we welcome into Office the 46th President of the United States of America, Joseph R. Biden Jr., along with Vice President Kamala D. Harris. On this day, we take one step closer to “America United” and look forward to a new journey that brings peace, healing, and harmony for all.
Today, we also celebrate our first woman, first African American, and first Asian American to serve as Vice President. It is a historic day that brings hope and promise at a time when it is most needed.
In the words of President Abraham Lincoln, may the President and Vice President lead us on a path forward “…to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and all nations.”
