Today, Campus Facilities and DASNY assessed the damage caused by Hurricane Ida. Our assessment resulted in a wide range of issues that require remediation by outside contractors. Thus the campus will remain closed to in-person activities through Monday (Labor Day). We will keep the campus community informed of any delayed reopening as remediation progresses over the weekend.

As a result, tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 3, will be a remote work day for all staff. There are no classes scheduled from Friday, September 3 through Wednesday, Sept. 8,  due to the upcoming holidays.

The CSI COVID testing site in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) will be open tomorrow, Friday. Sept. 3, from noon ot 5:00pm. Non-residential students and non-essential personnel may enter campus to visit the testing site only and must leave immediately after testing is complete.

Building 6S will only be open to essential personnel in the Animal Care Facility.

All rentals scheduled during this time frame will need to be canceled.
