Information Technology Services is pleased to share our Annual Report for fiscal year 2020-2021. The initiatives highlighted in this report provide a snapshot of projects and services Information Technology implemented over the past year in order to sustain operations and provide for opportunities for the future. As you navigate the Annual Report, please be sure to visit priorities planned for next year and “by the numbers” for statistics demonstrating how IT serves the College community.

We are proud to share these accomplishments. As you can imagine, IT’s focus over the past year included support for remote learning and educational and administrative services. Upgrades to our Website and infrastructure continue to remain a priority.

I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the IT team who worked tirelessly and collaboratively in order to arrive at solutions and sustain operations during this unprecedented time. I like to compare technology services to a light switch–you expect the lights to go on without thinking about it. There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes in order to have technology at CSI work like a light switch. This annual report is only a snapshot of what the IT team accomplishes to keep the “lights on.”

In closing, please take advantage of our online resources and training opportunities for faculty and staff, as well as letting your students know about our technology overview sessions for students. In addition, we are more than happy to provide individual training as well as conduct virtual workshops for your students or staff. As a reminder, if your schedule permits, don’t forget to register for the CUNY IT Conference occurring on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 2 and 3. This year’s conference theme is Technologies for Teaching, Learning and Working at the Future CUNY – Utopias and Dystopias as CUNY celebrates its 20th anniversary for this event.

Thank you as always for your support.
