The LGBTQ Resource Center would like to invite you to participate in a SafeZone training on Wednesday, Nov. 17 from noon to 2:00pm via Zoom.
SafeZone training is two hours and provides the opportunity to learn about LGBTQ+ terminology, how to use inclusive language, identify societal prejudices, and the importance of being an outspoken ally to the LGBTQ+ community. It is important for our campus to be a safe space for our LGBTQ+ students, staff, and faculty, and SafeZone training provides faculty and staff with resources to become better allies and create a safe environment for everyone. This training is open to all faculty and staff in every department.
