On Thursday, Feb. 10 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm, Joshua D. Safer, MD, FACP, FACE, the Executive Director of the Mount Sinai Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery (CTMS) and Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, will give a virtual talk to review the reasons for the shift in the model of delivery for gender-affirming care for trans people and then will review some of the hormone strategies along with the status of interest in various gender-affirming surgeries followed by a Q&A.
